Can anybody tell me the exact bullet diameter for the 7.7x58 Jap round? I have decided to possibly reload this ammo due to high prices and availability. Found a company that has the cases for a good price, just need more info. thanks

t308madness, the 7.7x58mm Japanese cartridge (http://www.reloadbench.com/cartridges/77j.html) uses a .311" diameter bullet. Just like the .303 British cartridge. Hope this helps!

Steve Mace is correct. I can recommend the Hornady 150 grain spire point in 303 caliber it is very accurate out of a Jap Type 99.
