My first two scans were quite nice, the rest are on the fuzzy side. I thought that I had the re-sizing down... guess not :(

From IRAQ 1991 gulf war.
Arabic script on rubber insulator grip (not translated yet).
Arabic number " 22928" written on reverse side.
Found as is in bunker.
Don't know country of origin.
Tiny circle with a "K" and another circle with a "N" factory stamped on sheath.
Wouldn't mind help in identifying it.

Interesting stuff! It looks like a Romanian bayonet but could be something else (are there any markings on the bayonet itself?). The sheath is a DDR. The insulator could be either Hungarian or Romanian - it is most likely the latter.

hardcorps1775, thanks for the kind words. The pics were much better before I re-sized and uploaded. I have no digital camera - only have scanner so I must get pics on film them scan. The first two came out really good after the re-size and upload. Hmmmm...

I haven't removed the rubber to check for additional stamps yet.
I will remove it after I get the Arabic script translated.
