The parts kit was a breeze to install... The roll pins were the only concern to me, but I taped everything off, and was able to make it all work in under an hour (first build)
I did end up losing the rear take down pin and the spring that goes with it (Totally my fault !!), but my local dealer was a hero the next day when he pulled them right out of another kit to sell to me. (cheap too)
I called model 1 about the parts I had lost and they said they would ship me the lost parts at no cost, (I was impatient so I bought them locally)
Overall... I'll COMPLETELY reccomend Model 1, for their sales team, great emails and high quality parts kits.

thats awesome.. the only reason why i went with J&T was cus of the chrome lining, but now I see that model 1 offers chrome lining as well. I'll probably use them for my next kit or upper. :)

I was going to use J&T, but model 1 was calling my name....
I'll use them again, probably very soon... I have 2 more lowers to build..

Sweet looking build.. I prefer the muzzle brake you get from J&T tho. But otherwise the model 1 kit looks just as good as J&T. Nice work.

I was worried about that issue too... but I'm happy with the quality of the gun, not a single problem so far...
can you post a pict of the J&T brake?

all in all.. both are really comparable in quality...
i'm really surprised in fact.. might go with Model 1 next time..
definately easier on the wallet..
also.. might want to push a slash through your serial #.. cant really make it out.. but... i donno... crack one up for paranoia.. ;)

Paranoid? nooo... Ive already used Photo-Shack to edit out the numbers... all that shows now are the model and make of the gun... usually the mega's say;
Cal: something..(.223 or 5.56 or multi)
Model: 9mm or Gator or Something..
Serial: MGA ***** most all are under 1000
Ive edit them out of the pictures... unless I'm seeing something waaaay different!
