I've wanted a real sword for a long time and they look to be a pretty good buy. Have other cold steel products and always impressed by them. I really like the Cold Steel O Katana warrior series w/36 inch blade. Doing some hunting for prices (MSRP is $559.99) the best I found was $299.00 and $369.95.

Does anyone own one these bad boy's ?

Also a company Knights Edge makes swords a little cheaper price wise. I would probably stick with Cold Steel on their reputation but if anyone is famliar with their products would they be a better buy.

I do not have the katana, but i do have the cold steel willow leaf sword, and i realy like it. It has a wonderful fit and finish. I hope this helps you make you'r decision more easily.

I have one of their M1917 Naval Cutlasses, and it's a wonderful blade. Next thing I get from them is going to be their bastard sword.

I was also thinking of buying the bastard sword. I have an Asian sword so now, i must buy a Europen sword to balance my collection. Matty please report back to us on your new blade.

I've just purchased 3 guns a mess of ammo and a ton of clips, plus 3-4 knives. So unfortunately just shopping around at the moment hopefully in 2-4 weeks I'll pick one up. I'm pretty impulsive lately with my money so who knows.

When I purchase it I'll let ya know.
