Pick the one with the best overall condition and bore.

Thats what i was thinking.. I know there are not going to be worth a whole lot as collectors guns but as shooters...

I got all three years of manufacture in black plus an extra black one for customizing. Recently started collecting the grays and need only a '53 dated one to have all three years in gray. If I had to do it all over again, I would of just collected the gray...they look better and are the original finish. Might say the hell with it and sell the 3 yrs of black.

Its here.. I decided too.... My dealer called this morning and told me the CZ's are in !! I went down and there was 4 ,, 2 grays and 2 blacks... and i got to pick the one i wanted...
These CZ-52's came from CDNN Investments .. They had a tan holster , 1 mag, and a layard cord . and paperwork.. and not stuffed full of cosmo.. just a fine layer.. the grips had some very minor nicks and scratches from shipping and handling...
the trigger pull on them was ok not overly hard but not crisp
I picked a 1953 Gray one with the best grips... the bore was new
dont look like its been shot.. the overall condition was nice
the park had a little wear but thats to be expected .. so no big deal.. this will be a shooter not a collector example...
I payed a bit more than the price in the CDNN fliers but thats ok
my dealer needs to make a little to keep his doors open and i need for him to be around ...
Cleaning it this weekend and trying it out,, i should be smiling
as i alway do with a new plaything
;) ;) ;) ;)

After reading a lot of forums on the cz-52's, it seems to me that the rearsenalled ones have more problems. The gray I have has only had one part replaced since I bought it (a new recoil spring). That was 6,000 rounds ago (if you count 9mm and 7.62). I have refinished the slide as it was very dinged up and buffed the firing pin and channel other than that it is all original.

I have a mutant CZ-52. Gray parked '53 frame and BRNO marked, polished blue slide. It is also in 9mm, not 7.62x25mm. It is a Century import from the late 80's as best I've been able to discover.
