Though the link only shows one knife, it does look like a good one.

This may be more confusing than helpful. I've kinda been out of the knife market for two or three years, after going way too overboard, but I seem to recall that there are two different companies with very similar names. Maybe one is Frost and the other Frosts??? I just don't remember. Anyway, the point is that one of the companies made very decent (and possibly Scandanivian??) knives for low prices, while the other company tended to make inexpensive "knockoff" knives that received very poor reviews. So, you wanted to make sure you were buying the "right" Frost (or whatever). Sorry I can't be more specific, but someone here should be able to fill in my blanks.

Frost Cutlery is a US wholesaler that handles many different manufacturers. Some high end some low end. Frost also imports knives made in Japan that has there name on them. Knives are on the low to medium range in quality.

I'm afraid that endgame and Citizen have it right! The site you have is the one you probably dont want.

If you don't mind a suggestion, go to

www.eknifeworks.com

and click on brands, then go to Frosts of Sweden. There you will find some of the cheapset, plainest, high quality knives in the universe. Ragnar at Ragweed forge says the swedes almost take pride in the plainness of their knifes, as a way of telling you that every possible cent goes into the blade. And he's a good guy who knows knives.

The Swedish Army Knife (SWAK) has been getting rave reviews on the survival sites for 2 or 3 years now. BTW they all have pretty crappy looking plastic sheaths, they are more durable than you would think, but you are expected to make your own sheath to suit your needs. The Clipper series are very useful also.

Then if those are of interest to you, you can go to Ragnar's website at

www.ragweedforge.com

There you can see what the Norwegian and Finnish Companies have to offer, as well as other Swedish companies. Once you use any of the nordic style knives you'll be as sold as I am.

The cheapest plainest of the lot will amaze you. or at least surprize you!
