When shopping for BDUs via the websites/ mail order (when you can't see them in person) what termanology do you look for when wanting the Rip Stop sets.

I realize some label them as rip stop but how can I tell with out seeing a swatch of the cloth.

What I physically look for is the "small square" stiching.

Any thoughts???

We called them the "Summer BDU" because of the lighter weight than "regular" BDU's.

Maybe some list them that way?

Not sure, but if you're looking for ripstop uniforms and be sure that you are, www.uscav.com sells them.

I think they usually say 100% cotton ristop or ripstop poplin. There is also a 50/50 nyco ripstop from Brigade Quartermasters.
