Not sure if I said that right but it was used in Vietnam. Had the dark green color with the slant pockets. Anymore out there to get or is it gone?

Are you talking about the ERDL camo? There were several color variations from a dark/light green base for the lowlands/jungles to a green/brown base more suited for the highlands.
It can still be found. Some surplus stores will have it mixed in with the current surplused woodland pattern. You just have to keep your eyes open.

if you're interested in repros, give full metal jacket a call. they carry thai repros for $80/set (i think that's the price)...

What is different about the bottoms than from current generation cammies?

Not much other than a non-reinforced butt area and a smaller, tighter camouflage pattern. There was also a small buttoned-flap pocket inside of the left cargo pocket, supposedly for a small survival kit.

We just called them leaf cammo. I saw my first set
in 73 in Germany. Two SF troopers were giving our
company pointers on the use of the M60 GPMG.
