Hi all, I'm shopping around for an AR-15, and a number of people that I've talked to recommend the Rock River versions.
My question is, what is the difference between the Tasc rifle and the CAR A2? I've been looking at the Rock River website for a while, and all I've found so far is:
-The pistol grip is different (A2 vs. Hogue)
-The handguard is shorter on the CAR, although it seems you can also get a "mid length" handguard, which i'm not sure is the same size as the Tasc's handguard or not.
Otherwise, best as I can tell, the specs are the same. Any insight, advice, or other comments regarding RRA AR's are appreciated. BTW, i'm looking for an AR as a 'fun' rifle- plinking, informal targets, etc. no high power matches or anything fancy. The .223 is one of those gaps I need to fill in the rifle collection. :D
Thanks,
Eric
