Sweet group there Az. foes that holster for the multitool have a retention device? I'm trying to find something like that that would hold my scorpion light. Everything I find is for the smaller mag lights.

Yeah, I just folded it under for the pic. It folds over and fastens with velcro.

Flashlight Combo (PST, PST II, Sideclip)
This flashlight combo sheath will also carry a Mini Maglite (AA). Ballistic nylon; Velcro closure.
Unit Price:$11.00
What kind of 1911 is that? From the rear sight and trigger, it looks like a Kimber with some wrap-around grips on it.

Yup, first year production Custom Classic with Hogue finger groove grips.
I prefer the extra weight from the all steel frame over current lighter alloy frames.;)

Those are "Lightning Bolts" from United Cutlery. The rifle is a 2002 SAR-1 with K-Var furniture and a G2 FCG. Getting lots of comments from that pic in several different threads.
The pistol is described in my response to LHS above!
Looks like a pretty well-made SHTF kit, if I do say so myself. It's really not so different than my SHTF kit ;) My SAR-2 doesn't have fancy polymer furniture, my 1911's a Wilson CQB, I don't have any of those nifty electronic gadgets, and my SpecPlus KA-BAR clone is missing some of the blackening ;)

hello my arizona brothers : do'nt forget the water, beans ,and plenty of bandages.:D...nice layout bro...vince g. 11b inf...
Heh, yeah Vince, water is pretty vital out here in the desert. In fact, I'd call a good water supply far more important than a firearm here. You're toast without agua in a very short amount of time out here, especially in the summer.
Funny, even after five years, I'm still subconsciously thinking "Heck, I'll just bring my PUR filter, and stop at a stream when I'm thirsty." Gotta kick that East Coast mindset if I ever go out for some serious camping out here.

Yet another Az guy. Welcome:welcome:
FYI, my fallback location has a year round natural spring. All I gotta do is get there:up:
Mine has a cave, set a thread "breakwire" up and its been undisturbed for 2-3 years..
Water and a roof, plus good fishing..
Maybe in my next life I will need such a place?? ;)
