I first became interested in Stryder knives after I read an article in some magazine intailing about how when the USMC finally joined SOCOM the Force Recon guys were issued a folder. The folder model is SMF and retails for $550.00. As I researched Strider I found out that Mr. Strider himself is a Marine and that only enhanced my interest in the company more.

At any rate does any one here own any Strider Knives or Strider-Buck Knives?

(Buck has an arrangement with Strider to design and fabricate their tactical line.)

I am very interested in Strider's fixed blades, and looking heaily at acquiring a Strider-Buck B890 Tanto.

Whoa...no way..too much money for a blade. I could get another SAR-1 for what those cost!

Roger that!

Though, I still can't help myself getting one of the Buck Striders for under $200.00.

Well I found a place on line that has one for $150.00.

The Strider-Buck 890 Tanto is really growing on me. Still though, I would like to handle one in person before I pay that kind of money.
