either you had a change of thought or solved it for yourself.. but.. my guess would be they'd cost just a little under the cost of a current LEO Beta-C..

with more demand, you can pick up refurbs for prolly around 150$

someone emailed beta-c and they will sell to civs if the AWB sunsets..

They are fragile if dropped when full, but I'd like to have one myself!!!

I'd only want one if it was free.....would'nt waste a cent on beta-c mags....

I'd only buy one if I had use for that many rounds... and even then.. if the AWB sunsets.. I could prolly buy 10 mags, magpuls, and molle gear to carry it in for cheaper than a beta-c... and that'd be 300 rounds of storage... and flawless/durable to boot...

C-Mags sell to LEO's for $250 and holds 100 rounds. That equates to 3 30 round mags that cost $83 a piece!
In todays mag prices, I could buy 12 30 round mags for that price and carry almost 4 times the ammo!

I have read countless articles of C-Mags jamming in Iraq and Afganistan and in a couple of those articles, resulting in the death of the soldier! :(
You could not get me to carry one of those things.

If you want an M16 that can be an LMG, buy a SHRIKE upper that is belt fed and uses SAW boxes that can carry 200 rounds. :beltfeed:
