Looks silly to me. I think that stabbing someone with that sawback would result in them wandering off with your knife until they bled out, which would take longer since the knife is stuck in them.

Ditto, better stick meat, if it went say between the ribs and the opponent twisted away, might take your knife along with him..

One of the differences between men and animals, is the man will always pull away from pain. An animal might or it might turn into it, to retaliate because after all to bite/claw etc, the other critter is close.

Not for fighting. Just an admirer and collector of fine examples of the knifemaker's art!

i think e.r. is a startup company. their sales pitch is hilarious, it's so over the top macho!!!

from what i understand though, the owner really was an operator...so i've heard...

actually, i think it was dark ops knives. but i think they also have something to do with e.r....

some of their hyperbole: :D :D :D

By the time you are using your knife and not your rifle or sidearm, things have already gone to hell. Our knives are designed to retain maximum grip and leverage when covered with hydraulic fluid or blood. Our mil-tested handle designs contain ground quartz inserts for maximum grip, aided by substantial finger grooves that orient the knife in the dark. The blades are long and sharp enough to penetrate both airplane skins and Comm-bloc body-armor. Strategically placed blood grooves control blood spray in covert deanimation activities. heeheehee :p

Arms for war, combat or utility is where these arts were developed.

Gotta supply a fancy write up..

Our edge is developed in combat, highly tactical, pure dinks in the wire mayhem, used by Recondos, LRRPs, SRRP, SF, Ranger, SEAL and more, in fact our knives look so dangerous we recommend you keep them sheathed because people have died of fright after looking.

Some times there's more artistic license and creativity in the advertisment that what's being advertised..

Wow, that's nuts. Blood grooves are actually meant for lightening the blade without compromising strength or rigidity, not 'controlling blood spray'. I do like that phrase, "Covert deanimation activities" though.

I thought it was to prevent the knife from getting stuck because of suction? Though I'm probably wrong since I'm new to this.

That's a myth. The actual term for the grooves is 'fuller'. It's purely for reducing weight without compromising rigidity.

I believe the company is Italian....

I don't think they are practical or tactical....

They appeal to the Rambo crowd.

If you want a ridiculous blade designed by real operators try TOPS or Strider knives.
