One of the earliest "Macho" knife designs, let's see your Bowie's"

Here's my 40 year old Western Bowie:

That is a nice looking Bowie. This is close as I got. Notice the Ka-bar has been sharpend a bit. My father carried it in the Korean war, my uncle (his little brother) in Vietnam and I carried it during "Just cause" and "Desert Storm". I plan to pass it to my grandson.;)

Sorry, saw the thread title "Jim Bowie" and thought it was going to be a history thread, he was one hell of a man!

Any way........great lookin Bowies AZ!

Rew, nothing beats a knife like your Ka-Bar......if only it could talk! :eek:
