For over twenty years I carried a Rigid Folding Hunter as my do all knife. Last summer it finally gave up the ghost, while chopping a walking stick for my daughter it broke the frame at the middle rivet on both sides. I now carry a Buck stainless folder with Micarta scales and a brittle blade. I've searched for a Rigid in pawnshops and gun shows, but haven't been able to find an original US made one anywhere. Do any of you guys have any lines on one? While searching the net I saw one company that was selling the remnants of the leftover Rigid parts from the factory. He had side plates but was selling the whole lot. I miss the feel and weight of the original. :(
