I had a 20 rounder I just purchased... seller did not inform me it wouldn't drop free.. so was kind of a pain in the ass.. but.. whatever.. I made the best of the situation..

mr. Adventureline 20rd USGI met mr. vice and mrs. steel file today :D

Got bored and hammered the damn thing into shape then filed the contact points...

its a little shiny under the magwell, but no one sees it anyway... took a super tight fitting 20 rd mag and made it drop easier than most 30's i have..and it functions... snap caps ran through it fine :D

Yeah, that can happen. It was either out of spec at the time of manufacture, or someone thrashed it.

It's usually the latter with contract mags...

Glad you got it working. :)

They're aluminum. They'll be fine. ;)

If you want it to look pretty, get a big Sharpie and color it black.
