Anyone out there have a PCR-9? What do you think? What type of ammo you use? How's the accuracy? Looking into getting one and a pre-ban upper later on. How does the whole sten mag thing work? I've seen aftermarket adaptors that attach using the AR mag catch and allow the mags to be used w/o modification. Thanks in advance.

I've owned the adapter for about 6 months now... but I still havent jumped in and purchased the darn upper for it yet..
The adapter is made by a dozen or so companies, but I chose to get mine locally from a friend (I still paid 40 bucks for it) but that was only becasue I new it was quality.
It fits good (not to tight, not too loose) and it holds the sten mags very well..
oh ya, you should jump on the tapco deal for the 10 sten mags for 39 bucks.
only a few of mine needed re-surfasing.

I read a review in one of my recent SWAT magazines and they had nothing but praise for it. Well built, never failed, and jsut plain fun to shoot.

Zidane,
I have one for sale if you're looking to get one. Mine is NEW w/ the case and all accessories and even comes w/ 1 factory mag from OA. I'm only asking $675 shipped to your FFL dealer. I have pics if interested. From what I've heard those adaptors and the Sten mags are pretty good too!
Thanks!

Zidane, I have a PCR 9. Well I have 2 9mm ARs. One is a OLY I bought new and the 2nd is and Oly Upper mounted on a DPMS lower with car stock. I use un modified sten mags 3-8 bucks apiece and a socom block. The Socom block holds the sten mag in place. The oly will feed anything! I have run Win white box and Wolf and whatever I can get my hands on. I consider this to be a close range gun and I use mine for trigger time at the local indoor range. If you have any other questions send me a email. BOBK48@aol.com

Mine runs with the SOCOM block and Sten mags. Only problem I ever had were weak springs in the old Sten mags, got them for $2 apiece from Tapco when they had the sale. I parked a bunch and gunkoted some. Took 15 out and put tape on the ones that worked and replaced the springs on the ones that didn't.

I just got mine about a week and a half ago. Paid $675.00 for the Rifle with 2 Oly modified sten mags and it had a sten loader in the bag, and a Galanti Soft case. It has the A2 Upper receiver and the A2 buttstock on it. The buttstock will get replaced early next week. I ordered the Magwell Filler, block from Kurts Kustom, it should be here either timorrow or earl next week. It had a Tri-Rail system under/infront of the gas cyclinder/front sight base with a laser on it. Removed the Tri-Rail System and will re-mount the laser later when I am dome addding the GGGAZ folding front sight assembly. The Tri-Rail is for sale (pic's available on request) for $30.00 Shipped. I also ordered 20 sten mags from Tapco and now believe that I should have ordered at least another 15 (just to have a few). I'm not happy with the A2 Upper Receiver and am goining to buy the Smooth-sided Flattop model from Rock River, it's listed at $150.00 and have Kurt at KKF turn down the barrel to M4 like profile and put on a decent/good Red-Dot (maybe an Aimpoint). Kurt is also going to thread the Barrel and install an A1 Flash-Hider. He stated that his ork will cost around $110.00 and he'll give ne a credit for my old upper receiverI'll also have an A2 Buttstock for sale soon. I'm also going to put one oj this
