Well here is my post on reviews for J&T parts and Mega lowers.

I ordered an M4 kit from J&T and got it in 3 days, since I had them put it as 3 days for UPS. Nice people and professional.

Packed VERY well. The upper is a nice black, but like my DPMS M4 the front flash hider seems an off color metal when its wet with oil.

The only problem is the carry handle is not black, its purple. Is it this way on your M4s too?
I have a military Knights M4 at work and it isnt purple, its all black so I am wondering if its civilian market thing or just J&T. I sent them an email on it.

I also ordered a MEGA lower completely built from carrico'z that arrived in the 2 days I paid for. It is nicely pre-built so I wont scratch anything and is just as high quality as my Olympic or Bushmaster or DPMS receivers. Man this is the way to go, no more punch pins or roll pins, you pay $50 more and they have all the triggers and springs in there already, thats the parts at cost! As for looks its pretty good. Just a different name is all I can see. For some reason the MEGA lower trigger is smoother than all my other ARs. odd but neat.

In the corner you can see a "tactical" stock retainer, it is anything but. It interferes with the charging handle and makes using it impossible. Dont buy one. I am selling mine for $15 to some sucker if you want it.

After Sept 14th this will all go together and we will see how it shoots.

wow that detachable carry handle is off in color...

I have a J&T EM-4 kit with an FN A2 upper.... its a teflon coated black so its got the gloss look which only matches my lower when wet with oil.. otherwise the lower is kinda like a flat black and the upper a gloss... could be fixed if i bought a teflon coated lower though.. but I dont mind.. I oil mine a lot so it doesn't matter.. I love the gun.. J&T is a really professional outfit.. they should fix the carry handle problem, if it is indeed a problem..

as for the flash hider.. mine doesn't have that problem, but i have the tac-break.. i need to email them and figure out how the thing is fixed on there... gonna need an upgrade soon ;)

the J&T trigger set is nice and crisp.. a little heavy of a pull, but definately crisp.. if you're one of those who likes to bump fire.. aint gonna happen, but if you want a clean pull, but with some poundage to prevent accidental firing(example home defense gun).. definately the right choice :)

might save the lower parts kit in case you ever need something like that... or.. could just sell it too :)

yeah, I have a few AR projects in the works, will need my extra parts.

I think perhaps you hit it, the handle may be a different metal all together, it looks black under normal light but in my halogen kitchen lights it seems smoother of a metal than the lower.

odd.............:dunno:

It will look that way outside as well...

Looks great Remy!!!

BTW, my wife was looking over my shoulder in one thread where you posted a pic of yourself with a suppressed CAR15 in the back of a C130 (I think). She said you were HOT!

Just thought you would get a kick out of that. :lool:
