Anybody got a rough idea on the trade in value of a Post Ban- Bushy standard 20" HBAR with the A-1 hybrid upper (has the A-2 case deflector) and the ear shatterer mini Y-comp pinned on. It has fewer than 50 rounds through it. Getting ready for Sept. and found out it would be cheaper to just get a new upper assembly in standard A-2 config. than swapping out the upper rec. FSB, and turning and threading the bbl. Looking at around 300 for a non-chrome lined A-2 20" HBAR, a little higher with chrome bore. Anything I can get out of the old upper will help pay for the new one.

I sure do hope this thing is worth something. If not I may go for a .223 Saiga conversion project instead and use the Bushy as a big paper weight.

Gunshow in Greensboro. Got $200 trade in value for it on a new A-2 upper. Cost me $175 more which turned out to be less than tearing it apart -- replacing the upper, FSB, and threading the business end. I lost the chrome bore and chamber of the bushy, but, oh well. Might of been able to do better, but this close to Sept 14, nobody was really interested in post ban configs. My new upper assembly is a plain Jane 20" A-2 upper, with ER Shaw bbl. The upper receiver has F K on the carry handle not sure whose it is. The Guy I got it from said it was an FN upper. Could also be a Bushy, or Demaico or other. It looks good, I'm a happy camper. Now as long as I've got at least 30 seconds or so as the old ban expires and a new one gets rammed through -- I'll be good to go.:D :D :D
