I just put togather a kit and every 5 or 10 rds 1 will jam when it comes out of the mag in betwen the bolt and the chamber like on the top edge of the chamber grabs the caseing and keeps the bolt from closeing and about half way down the case their is a big scrap mark from were it made contact is this normal?

and it is aluminum with gray finish with green follwer

If you have anyother mags.. try a different one.. if you dont have another mag.. buy more cus you need more than 1.. shoot you need more than 10 :D actually not really.. but its always good to have atleast 2 so you can function test if a problem like this ever arises..

what ammo were you using.. steel cased wolf, barnaul or silver bear?.. steel cased rounds are known for some problems usually associated with feeding but this sounds more of a magazine problem than anything..

...Or a gas problem with not pushing the bolt back far enough to grab the next round.

Have you checked the gas rings? Gas tube binding the gas key? Gas tube in good condition?

ya I was thinking that might be it too.. make sure the notches on the gas rings aren't aligned... has your rifle been submerged in water turning the carbon buildup to crud inside the gas tube?
