Help identify upper, please

Just got a Colt 20" Govt. barreled upper at a show for 225 dollars, less
bolt & charging handle. It is in excellent cond. There are no markings to
clearly identify it as a Colt. At least not to me. I'm pretty new to AR's.
Anyway It's an A2 upper with shell deflector, foward assist, Govt. profile
barrel with lug and A2 flash hider. Markings on barrel- C MP 5.56Nato 1/7.
Markings on carry handle C M in a diagonal pattern. I know about 5.56
1/7 but the C MP and C M have me wondering.

Barrel Markings:

C = Colt
MP = Magnetic Particle Tested
5.56 = Chamber
1/7 = 1 in 7 twist

Upper Markings:

C = Colt
M = Martin Marietta
