I have heard that a 52 can zip through a bullet proof vest. Is there any validity to this statement? I know they hot hard, but that hard? or fast? either one?

They could go through the older ones but not the new and improved...they had to be CZ52 rated after that round started going through the Europeon vests.

Depends on the level of vest and ammo. There is still a lot of steel core 7.62x25mm ammo out there-this will penetrate vests that newer lead core 7.62x25mm will not-vests aren't bullet proof-they're bullet resistant to a degree-you will always find a bullet that will penetrate, may be a 50cal BMG but it will do. :ak:
