Anyone play / used to play? College, Men's Club, High School even? Pro?

Anyone watch it over a few beers?

I played in college - Alfred Rugby Football Club - front row, mainly Hooker.

I played in college, Eastern IL., we won are conference and qualified for the NCAA tournament three years in a row win I played, not that it was cause of me alone or anything. I played loose head prop and hooker alot, A-side. We always played on Saturdays and I remember spending alot of Sundays in bed all day, after paying and then partying all night. It was alot of fun and work. We practiced 4-days a week all school year long.

Ah ha - another member of the front row!

Yeah - 2 hours of practice four weekdays, 1-hour on Friday, tournaments all day Saturday, then a drink-up - Sundays were sure for rest (and some homework later on!)

No way to play these days - but I can watch - FoxSportsWorld carries lots of Rugby Union stuff, and is the main reason I get digital cable here . . .

Come on - there must be some other Ruggers here!!

I am to old to play anymore, well not really, just to lazy and don't have the time. It was great in college and I always incourage people in college to give it a try. You meet alot of cool people and it was somthing to do, way better than joining a frat.
