After searching for a couple months on the Internet, pawn shops, and finally the Dallas Gun show recently, I gave up trying to find a Tokarev and bought a CZ-52 instead.
The pistol really is in great shape, but it does have some flaws that I'm hoping folks here may know how to correct.
1) The plastic handles don't fit my hand very well. Are the hard wood ones that you can buy and better (rounder...not as flat)? If so, any suggestions on the best place to buy a set from? To me, $45 or so for a little bit of wood is a lot to ask, but if that's the way it has to be then....
2) The trigger pull isn't exactly up to snuff! Any suggestions here? I've seen replacement fireing pins with springs that claim to help out. Any truth to this? Anyone know the best place to buy an upgrade from?
Maybe I'm just expecting too much from my $99 CZ52, but I'd like to improve it to be the best it can be if it is reasonably inexpensive.
Thanks!
