I have long tracked production of 7.62cal AR's and seen them go from nothing more than collector's items and sniper rifles to where they are now in all different configurations and designs with different purposes. I have always liked the idea of a short barrelled 7.62cal for CQB and medium range target engagement.
What I want is an SPR in 7.62cal with all the bells and whistles, but I am not sure what brand receiver to go with. I understand they are all good in quality and they all have individual features they make them better in one way or another. I have been looking at Bushmaster a lot more, with the ability to use standard FN mags that are available anywhere. What do you guys think and what would you suggest.
