Hello my AR-doting comrades!!! I was considering some changes to my upper order,(after all, the wait was supposed to be 6-8weeks!), and found out that the order was ready for shipment! It's been a mere 2 weeks! Rock River Arms is impressive to say the least! Anyhow, the reason for my wanting to change the configuration, was that I have traded for an ar-15 in the same general configuration of the RRA upper I ordered. I told them to proceed as I bear the responsibility for placing my order. (in other words, I'm keeping my end of the bargain.) I have went from having no AR's to having 2! It's got to be divine intervention! Anyone got a sweet 20" upper? Heh-heh! :hohyeah:
Thank You RRA!

Got my 20" upper from RRA in October. They said it would take up to 6 weeks......showed up on my doorstep in 10 days!

Sweet! How'ya like it? I ordered the 16" w/midlength front grip panels in no-ban configuration. I traded one of my bolt-guns for an AR that is already decked out with GG&G free float front tactical tube, Streamlight M3, on a Double Star Arms upper mated to a Bushy lower. My brother,(Gr8Scott) told me I came out great on the trade, but now I got 2-16" rifles. I guess I'll just dress the RRA up a little differently! Variety is the spice of life, ain't it? LOL!

Yep! I had a hell of a time getting the upper and the lower to close. TIGHT! Actually scraped the finish of the rear corners of the back lug of the upper. It gives off an acrid metallic smell everytime I open or close the receivers. Shoot's like a dream! Came with the M4-style feedramps as well. I gotta get cracking on building my 20" upper. Going to a gunshow this Saturday. I figure it'll be cheaper buying the components and using my old upper receiver. I've heard trying to just swap complete uppers wasn't very cost-effective. I'd post a pic, but I haven't taken any as of yet.
