This question gets asked about once a month, so I decided to try and head it off early.
The gas tube on an AR has very hot high pressure gas blowing through it every time the rifle is fired. Don't waste money on extra long pipe cleaners. The only part of the gas system that should have a pipe cleaner run through it is the bolt key. The gas tube itself is pretty much self cleaning. :encore:
