I just received my package of MAKO Glock products to review and I am very pleased. The quality of their products is excellent.
I mounted their accessories on my G22 for testing purposes. MAKO does remind you that permanently attaching the Tactical Stock to a pistol makes it a SBR and you need to register it with ATF. That information is important to know and was supplied by MAKO.
Here are a couple of photos of their Glock Tactical Stock, the Glock Tactical Scope Mount with BSA red dot scope, and the Glock Foregrip mounted on my G22.
A few words about each product:
GLOCK TACTICAL STOCK
Thier quick release folding stock is very well made. The stock is solid throughout and the attachment to the channel of the Glock is secure and steady. The release mechanism is smooth operating and will reliably hold the stock in whatever position you like. When shouldering the stock I found it to be very comfortable and the placing of the sight relative to the stock is perfect.
GLOCK TACTICAL SCOPE MOUNT
Their scope mount is surprizingly solid, actually rock solid. The red dot sight fit perfectly onto the rail and was quickly sighted in. The only problem I had with the scope mount was getting it onto the Glock because of the aftermarket sights I had installed. I am sure that, with original Glock sights, this would be a non-issue. For me, all I had to do was put the slide on the gun's rails before installing the scope mount. MAKO supplies an allen head screw that replaces the trigger pin when mounting.
GLOCK FOREGRIP
This accessory mounted directly to the front rail of their scope mount. It was solid as a rock and works great as a foregrip with the pistol in this configuration.
Not pictured in photo is MAKO's magazine attachment that replaces the original floorplate and allows a spare magazine to be used as a foregrip in place of the MAKO foregrip. They also sent me a Tactical Sling that can be attached to the weapon.
I was greatly pleased with all of the items that they sent me. They fit well, are of superb construction, and transformed my G22 into quite a different weapon.
I couldn't wait to go out back and test the "new" G22. It fired reliably and was quite different than my "pistol" G22. I am headed to the range tomorrow for more fun with my new toy. To keep things legal I will then remove the tactical stock until such time as I can fulfill the BATF requirements.
I heartily recommend MAKO's line of Glock accessories. You will not be disappointed, I certainly wasn't. Please feel free to email me with any questions you might have of this review.
