I had a couple of these awhile ago but screwed one up trying to get the .32 ACP cylinder to work right and sold them both.
Now that ammo is cheaper from SOG (Surplus) I'm back I guess!
I hear some of you guys use .32 S&W long...any problems with that ammo? Doesn't the ammo spit a little out the cylinder when you fire it? Thanks....
I'm curious to hear some reports about alternative ammo too.
So far I've only shot 7.62 Nagant out of mine.

Some people have reported spitting of a little lead when they shoot them...some say the .32 Longs bulge when you fire them...some say the .32 H&R magnum works with no bulging. Did you get the surplus ammo at SOG or did you buy NORMA?

I've got the Surplus.
I think there's Fiocchi out there also.

Oops, your right...its Fiocchi not NORMA...makarov.com says American made ammo will soon be available and Reed ammo is getting ready to make 3 different loadings for them also...stay tuned.

Yellow Box? If so, that's the same stuff that SOG sells for $15.

This quote is taken from the Interordnance website:
" We have concluded some experiments to determine what other ammunition can be used in the Nagant revolver besides "7.62mm Nagant". Our tests show that these revolvers will work perfectly with caliber ".32 H&R Magnum" jacketed hollow point ammunition as loaded by Federal Cartridge Co. Their item number is C32HRB. The revolver will also fire caliber ".32 Smith & Wesson" and caliber ".32 Smith & Wesson Long" ammunition but we do not recommend it since the use of lead bullets will lead to fouling and cylinder binding. We do not recommend the use of any lead bullet in these three calibers but if jacketed bullets are available, then they should be okay. "

I had two a couple tears ago but screwed one up putting on the .32 ACP cylinder (ground the hand down too far as per the instructions that came with the cylinder) and got disgusted and sold them both. That was before the cheap ammo (well cheaper than FIOCCHI) came in.
