Ok, you guys may think this is a dumb question but, how do you install the bolt buffer? Does the pin just push out or do you have to do something 1st?
I'm a newbie to 10/22's. I tried to do a search but didn't find anything.

The buffer pin in the rear of the 10/22 receiver is just slipped into place. You should be able to knock it out with a small hammer and a wooden dowel. The buffer is actually kept from sliding out during firing by the stock, as are all the pins in the trigger housing, and the pins that hold the housing into the receiver.
