I hope iam Posting this in the right forum,Iam New here so I don't know much about navigating in this site. So I apologize if Iam in the wrong forum.

I hope someone can guide me, I have a 1909 Argentine mauser which was rebarreled to a 30/06, I had it for 40 years and it always shot very well although I have only shot a couple of Boxes in setting the scope and shot a few deers with it, so I love the old rifle which has a solid walnut modernised stock.
The problem was the othet day we try to clean it and removed the bolt and cleaned it and had a lot of trouble putting it back and now when I shoot it it is very hard to pull the bolt out to expel the cartridge. We also notice the handle has a crack where it was modified and welded so that it sits downward instead of the old Handles which were straight in mausers, so I want to replace this Bolt and buy a new one I have looked around and written to several suppliers but can't find one can someone supply me with a name of a supplier or tell me what might be wrong with this bolt?

If you can Email me I sure Appreciated I don't know if I can back on this particular forum to read the answer I might loose it LOL, Thank you Tork3

I picked up a Columbian Mauser, 30.06 with a sporter bolt, on gunbroker. The bolt wouldn't allow me to activate the safety. I went to ebay and won a Mauser bolt, turn down style and put that in. Check that out and I know you will be able to find something that will work for you.
