Anyone use these things?

I ordered a set of them from Hawktech a few days ago. I was cleaning my modded 10/22 a week or so ago in preparation for my first range trip of the year and noticed that the trigger assembly pins just about fell out when I removed the stock. Obviously the movement in the trigger group can't be a good thing. I have to believe that these pins will help out. It'll be interesting to see if they help tighten up my groups. Can't wait to try them out.

Yeah ruger pins do just fall out when the stock is removed. I have not heard about the pins, but like AWP said please enlighten us. I looked at his site and he has a lot of new stuff up there form last time I was on, but I did not see the pin kit from Kidd just the trigger housing.

You can get those or you can save a few bucks and just buy a bunch of 3/16" steel dowell pins, they will tighten up your rifle at a fraction of the cost.

I have three 10/22s with Kidd triggers on them, and the 3/16" pins. Also have two with the Volquartsen TG2000 and all fit nice and tight with the dowell pins.

The biggest difference is seen on a stock trigger group, really tightens them up nicely.
