1860 army help!!

I bought a pietta reproduction 1860 revolver recently; but I cant get the damn wedge out!!! I even resorted to using steel punches (had no choice!!) but it still wont budge. on the right side of the frame, the wedge is flush with the rest of the frame so I have no f-ing clue what to do here. Ive tried oiling it, heating it, everything. I dont want to shoot it until I know I can take it down and clean it properly (failure to do so will ruin most BP firearms)

Ideas?

On my 1860 Colt, I remove the wedge out by depressing a leaf spring attached to the wedge and I remove it from the left side. Maybe you are trying to remove it from the wrong side ?
