finished my pistol build today. put about 4 hrs in it today. will have pics tomorrow:)

i think these things are awesome. can't wait to fire it. i figured it was like a amd65 folded, but it is totally different. alot of mods went into this. i used hoplo's rear trunion which is very nice. i was going to weld up the amd trunion but am glad i went with his. i shortened the gas tube off a mak 90 and used the furniture up front for that. a little trimmimg of the wood had to be done for the lower.

having a build party next weekend, so i wanted to get this done this weekend. i think i might have to do another:)

I finished my first pistol last week. It is an AMD-65 built on a Tapco flat with a G2 fire control group and a Romanian pistol grip, I think the handguards came off a Maadi, not sure though.http://www.picyard.com/main/data/500/103pistol1-med.jpg

looks awesome! is that stock 14.5 inch?

I believe it is. It turned out way too shiny, but I will deal with it.

BTW, damn sorry for hijacking this thread 73cj5. I guess I misunderstood the intent of this thread, I thought this was the new thread for posting our pistol pics. I will stop hijacking now, sorry again.

Did you cut the barrell or is that just amd-65 with a slant muzzle break?
Looks sweet, I have one of those kits just begging to be made into a pistol.
