1. First of all this is a great site. I collect and hope to be able to get the C & R with your help.

2. Since this is curio and Relics, Ive been told that this is a Spanish Mauser 1916 vintage. I would like to get the accessories to finish it out. It is 7mm but someone has refinished it so there are no markings on the stock and nothing on the receiver stamped. See if anyone can tell me (1) if it is a Spanish Mauser and (2) where to get bayonet , scabbard, frog, and cleaning rod for it.

P.S. It was my first gun I payed $10.00 for it in 1967 out of a barrel and used it for Deer Hunting for many years. Good rifle. The serial # is L4528. Thats all thats on it.

Try Samco. (They sell Converted .308 Spanish 1916's).

That big honkin 1896(93, 98?) bayo fits that Mauser I think the bayo is 18" or so It's huge, I'm also pretty sure that's the bayo that was issued with the 1916... I need one too. They're about $30.
