I have a N.R. Davis & Sons "Premer" Davis Warner Arms Corp. Norwich,Conn USA 16 Ga. English Double Ser # B43xx
This has box locks with color case finish.
The barrels are a nice blue about 90% there, and no dents, and 26" long.
The wood seems to be Walnut and the fore arm in checkered as is the pistol grip on the stock. The checkering is even and well cut, but a bit more open that we see today.
There are a few minor scratches in the wood and what looks like someone pushed a round bullet tip on the right side of the stock.
I have no idea when this was made, or what it might be worth.
Any one got any idea? I did a search and got zip! Mac
