Here's a few C&R pics. Some have seen 'em, some haven't.
For those that have, tough titties! These are the only pics I got and I got to get my miles out of 'em. ;)

Love the hardware! Nice collection.

Any advice for a newbie on where to buy at a good price?

Thanks

AIM, Century, Wholesale Guns and Ammo, Southern Ohio Guns and Interordnance are my favorites in that order.

All their links are on the home page, bottom right hand corner. www.ak-47.net

Was looking at FR8 at Century yesterday, and I can't seem to figure out how to tell the price. Only one gun on the list had a price box, to choose whether you wanted "good" or one with a "Cracked Stock".

What am I missing there, Redstar? Were all those guns $79, or just the one. Hmmm.

Some were $30, some were $50, some were $89, some were over $100. The FR8 was $169 in excellent condition. Century only has good condition FR8's now for $139.

edited- had the wrong price on the FR8.

BTW Century doesn't show the prices unless you have a license on file with them and you get a password.

Ah OIC. Makes sense. Thanks for the price info. FR8 is on list.

You, Zouave, and TheRifleman have convinced me to get SMART about buying guns. I don't have any damned 8.5 by 14 inch paper, gotta wait to get to work tomorrow to print out the app.

This C&R forum obviously seems to tickle the shit outta you guys. Jeez, I didn't realize about the C&R status until yesterday!!!! I'm a definite convert.

M44 going on the list.

It sure does!

I am as nervous as a Nun is her 9th month and as excited as a virgin on prom night!

I hope that this forum will become a permanent addition to the ak-47.net family, so far it looks like the chances are pretty good!

The Big CA, I sent my apps in on regular 8.5 x 11. Where does it say you have to use 8 x 14? I heard someone else mention that too. I don't think it matters but if they say to do it, I guess you better do it that way. I read over my apps about five times to be sure they were right. I hate red tape.

Yeah, i'm excited too. It's a great hobby in addition to 'assault weapons'.

Redstar:

Was at ATF's site and downloaded their C&R app in PDF format. before the download were instructions to reset your printer's output.

Hell, I'll print it out in 8.5x11 and see how good it looks. If you did the same, WTF.

I think it was The Rifleman who mentioned the 8 x 14. I think he went with 8 x 11 too.
