Any one know where to purchase an AK pistol rear trunion? I like the looks of the one the K people were selling but it shows "out of stock".

Check it out guys, they are ready to ship.

I got to see one yesterday at the CF build party (thanks deadman and all who helped me demill my M92 Krink - receiver not here yet, so I am just de-milling). I forget the name of the guy who had it - there were quite a few people there and I am terrible at names (and following other cars).
Anyway, it was REALLY nice. He had to mill it down to fit in a 1.6mm Arsenal USA receiver. Maybe you could offer one that was built to fit inside that thicker receiver ? The receivers are nice and heavy, but standard trunions don't fit. I have also heard that standard axis pins don't fit either but I am not sure that is true. Seems like it would be - between the 2 thicker side walls, that's 1.2 mm difference.

Normally, if there were an abundant supply of AMD-65's (I wish) I would say make more.
It also depends if people are willing to cut down the barrels of kits where the barrel length is 16".
Has anyone heard if there will EVER be any more AMD-65's imported. I heard the 63's probably will soon.

On second thought, with the Yugo M-92 Krinks now available, a second batch may be a good idea.
Most builders won't go SBR with these, and it would be sooo easy to build a pistol from these. COOL too.
Wish I had the money....... hehe.

Slamfire, I was told by a reputable source that more amd's ? were coming towards the end of the summer, I'd hate to be sitting on a lot of parts that nobody needs, the only kit that can use them nowadays are the very expensive m92 yugo but they are the same cal. as the amd65 at about four times the price.
I guess I'll have a small batch made and see what happens.
Thanx for the encouragement and positive attitude in willing to help.

I have the M92 Yugo kit and I am thinking about getting one from you - about $40 plus shipping right ? Deadman told me my rear trunnion was very unique and seemed to be milled from a solid block of steel. He said I could use it in a pistol build as long as I don't drill the holes in the receiver for the folder to attach. So I could just put that one back in (assuming I ever get the last rivet out).
The advantage to yours is that highly cool removable pin that holds the sling attachment. I have to look again but I think on the M92, the rear sling attachment is on the folder itself, so if I build as a pistol, I will have no rear sling attachment, unless I get a trunnion from you. I can always put the original trunnion back in later, if I go SBR. Everyone building M92 Yugo kits as pistols is going to have this problem, so I say run a batch.
Please PM with ordering details - how, where, how much etc.
Thanks !

I hope the rumors are correct. I'd love to get my hands on a few more 65 kits.

Bbittel, you are correct, they are milled out of a solid piece of T1 tool steel but they only cost $40 shipping included. here is how it looks when installed and painted.

Slamfire, so do I, I wouldn't mind a couple more 63 and 65
I have the center support tube that uses the long rivet from 1pat for sale now, so once I recoup some cash I'll order more trunions. They are not pretty because of the heat treat but once refinished, nobody knows.

These are REALLY NICE and WORTH the price.
The one that bbittel was referring to at the last CFBP was GregL's and when I put it up along-side the one I brought ( paid $20 more for mine ) from another maker, mine lost "hands down" IMO.

Uncrichie,
The center support tube with rivet cost $10 shipped for two and $20 for five shipped and no Paypal fee.
Thanx for asking.
I will post a thread in the for sale forum in the business park section under power seller.

Not to take any of Hoplo's business, but my good friend Dave of Elite Firearms makes a damn nice one. He has built several pistols for the Guns Network Admin.
Here is a link to his in house designed and made rear turnnions:
