Where did you get the vz-52 are there any more and what did you pay for it. I would like to add one to my collection.

I found it in a local pawn shop, paid $150 for it. Its a got a nice bore, sorry wood (better than the painted ones Century was selling years ago), and has a few minor issues to work out. I love it though, in fact I fired it last weekend.

While there are no more at the pawn shop, I know where one is that has a darker stock, cleaned up of course, and in pretty decent condition overall. It even has the elusive front sight hood. The guy will part with it for $500, which is way too high in my book. You should pay around $150-$300 max for a VZ-52 shooter, up to $700-$1000 for an unissued or excellent condition gun, especially if its a VZ-52/57.

Cheers!
