Sent them a cashiers check and FFL via overnight usps, cost me $14. They let it lay in their POB for three days and then sent me the wrong model, wrong caliber and to beat it all, it was $40 cheaper gun and they kept the $40. Like I said in a previous post, the only one who has a worse rep is Inter Ordnance..........................................

I'm feeling the same way about them myself. I called for some ammo yesterday, the snippy twit on the phone puts me on hold for five mins, then they ask all the credit card shit, name, address phone number, up front- takes another ten mins then I finally get a word in to order.

Her: 'part number?!" all pissy, I give it to her,
her: 'out of stock'!! pissy

me: OK lets try xxxyz,

'out of stock' pissy again.

This was 7.62 x 25 Tokarev for cryin out loud.

I told her thanks for nothing, good by.

Screw them.

I like IO better I've ordered alot from them and they were pleasant and never screwed up my order.

I have heard nothing but bad things about SOG. I will stick with AIM SURPLUS.

for a C&R newbie, thanks for that heads up. I hate snippy people. IF I'M THE CUSTOMER, I'M ALWAYS RIGHT (???), and snippiness doesn't cut it. Dooh!!!

I'd really like to beat my head up against the wall sometimes just to let out some steam/stress. SO MANY ASSHOLES OUT THERE.

Snit shits like that don't last long in customer service.

Yep, AIM is without a doubt THE BEST place to order from.

AIM, Classic Arms, CDNN, and Century are about the only companies I deal with.

I've tried SOG but they are always out of what I want and they seem rude on the phone.

I-O has screwed up 2 orders and still not fixed the last so screw them.

Just my opinions and my experiences.

I'll agree here,SOG personell seem to have quite the attitudes.....ALSO you have to make sure you get a handpick otherwise their grading system isn't up to par......For now I'll still order from them, but I will be sending them an email letting them know I'm not the only one who thinks they need an attitude adjustment for their people who work the phones....

AIM, and CDNN, have been good, though AIM is a bit on the slow side. The only two real turds I've gotten were from SOG.

Aim is very good, SOG sucks, CDNN is good Interordnance is hit or miss but at least they aren't snotty like SOG. Century has nice phone order people, but the wearhouse in Vermont will send absolute crap. Customer service on a return is or was slow as oil paint drying in 95% relative humidity.

Ahhh, all real good information that I'm literally eating up. I can't get this information in General Discussion. They're arguing about penis sizes over there. ;puke:

I hope the ATF person that gets my application for C&R is sharp!! Two more immediate weapons to get. Hopefully it won't be too late. Crossing my fingers.

Well, after reading this I'm glad I live only 13 miles from SOG. I can pick my stuff up so I don't have to deal with that BS. I will say that SOG sure makes it hard to do business with them. Only thing I have bought from them so far was a MAS49/56 which was new. Hell, I'm almost afraid to oder anythng form them now, but unlike many of you, if they give me shit, I'll take it rigth back in.

They told me when I pick up the stuff it is packed up just like they were going to ship it, and sure enough it was. They told me on the phone there was really no showroom and I could'nt stand there and look over the rifles etc....and sure enough, no show room, not even a sales counter like AIM has. A door that says dealer pick up. You ring the buzzer, they hand you your shit after you pay and thats it. I took it out to my truck and looked it ocer before I left, cause if it was not as described I was going back in. It was however, as described so I did'nt have to do that this time.

It's to bad so many are having problems. They do have a lot of stuff there. Oh well....in business, you have to treat your customers right, or you won't have any customers.

Well that's good to know Rifleman.....How about we make Dave the C+R picker upper who can then ship directly to us after taking a look at the item!!!!!!! :D

I would do that except the feds would'nt like it much. ;) Those damn pesky gun laws ya know.

You don't have a C+R???? We can ship C+R guns directly between ourselves all day and night long as REDSTAR noted.....I thought for sure you had one?
Then again you might have to devote quite a bit of time to picking up guns and checking them out for REDSTAR,ZOUAVE and a couple others that buy C+R like my kids buy CD's.....:D

If I picked up at SOG I would have to use my license. Then if I shipped them all around would'nt they get suspicious of me "running a business" with my C&R license? That is what I would be worried about. So Mr. Rifleman, you bought 4,000 guns on your license but only have 100 of them in your posession???

Honestly though, if you guys had something you were really worried about, I would help ya out. But 1Pat, your right. As many guns as Zouave and Redstar by, I could just pitch a tent LOL!!!!

No I don't think they could as long as you weren't making a profit, and with cheap *&^cks like me taking advantage of your goodwill you certainly WOULDN'T be!!!! :D

Thanks for the offer Dave, but I wouldn't impose myself on you like that.....Best regards to you.

On Another note guys here's a reply from SOG after i sent them an email pointing out their phone contacts being gruff and snappy.....

Dear Sirs:
Just an observation.Your people running the phones seem to have an attitude,in which I'm not alone in observing while ordering....This observation is making the rounds on the gun forums and I would hope that you value your customers enough to fix the problem....Snapiness and gruff treatment are not acceptable to a lot of customers.
Sincerely, Robert

Sir, I would like to apologize for this & assure you this message will be given to the Sale's Manager to be addressed. I understand your feelings & am aware of exactly what you are describing.

Thank you,
Christy/SOG
