USGI Magazines are just about the best you can buy.

USGI is a vague term, but includes anything that is goverment issue for the US. This includes Parson, Center, colt, Sanchez, OKAY, Labelle, D&H, Cooper( Though I wouldn't reccomend that brand, due to certain batches of mags that are not in spec), and quite a few others that I'm for surely missing.

If you look at this forum, and select to view all posts for the past year. Somewhere in this forum is a thread entitled Magazine FAQ. This will link you to a place that displays all of the various brands of magazines, and how well they function.

The one disagreement I have with that site, is they say to avoid Sanchez USGI magazines. This is due to a recall that was on them over a select few that were jamming in combat. This was corrected with green followers. I've never had a jam in the 4 Sanchez mags I own, and wouldn't hesitate to use them with my life on the line. They do have Magpul followers in them though.

Since you're new, I'll give the rundown on 30 round magazine followers.

Original Black followers. These can be tilted within the mag body causing jams.

Anti-Tilt Green followers. A new design to reduce tilting, but not prevent it.

Magpul No-Tilt followers. A 3rd party company that designed a new type of follower that cannot be tilted under any circumstance. They cost more @ about 2.25$ a peice, but they're a sound investment in my book.
