View Full Version : New or old pistol idea for Saigas?
If I was building a pistol out of a Saiga, I think I would go this route. To bad the price is so steep.

You'd still want to shorten the barrel and probably the gas piston too. Then there is the issue of the overall squishy, crappy stock Saiga trigger pull. I think the only Saiga pistol I'd consider would be a 223 Krink.

You would have to keep the saiga barrel over 16" as you can not convert rifle to pistol without SBR and tax. Besides that grip is Fugly.

And we thought we had all the freedoms. Look what the Ruskies can do.
No SBR taxes there, and apparently no restrictions. :)

Oh, yeah, that too, once a rifle always a rifle to the ATF. I guess keeping that in mind if I ever did want a .223 Krink I'd have to do it with a folder and a fake can over the barrel.

Looks like the reach would be quite a stretch for my trigger finger.
