i saw the most strangest thing. a guy at a gun shop here, make a 9mm ak. it basically looked in a krink, but instead of a 5.45x39, it shot a 9mm.
It shot really well. to be an experiemental model, but he stated that he is waiting on the patten right now...
what will they think of next...

I have been talking with a couple of builders about doing one in the FN 5.7 round. Biggest challange is converting to blowback and machining a new bolt.

the gun is awesome, no pics the guy said that he is trying to get a patten, on it or something. but i thought that the ak pattern is already in pattened office in us and russia... go figure
russian has a 9mm, i know of and also, suppressed ak in 9mm. saw it in the museum, in russia when i was delayed for couple days due to snow. bone cold, wet, slush, and slipperly everywhere in russia. that is why the rusian are so mean tough and the military is so, hard.. that damn weather... no insult, but a compliment to any former or now russian military out there.
but the women were hot and food was good

I've been thinking (OK, dreaming) of making a .45 ak pistol, or carbine. Would need a custom made barrel, modify the bolt face, maybe use grease gun mags... be good for a conversation piece.

It's available, just damn expensive. I had started talking to them back when it was supposed to be coming in regularly.
My local shop has a couple boxes left, and more on the way. all that is available is HP.
