300 Fireball upper

WOO HOO....

I recently got Model 1 Sales to build me to my specs a 300 Fireball (300 whisper).

16” AR15 C.A.R. Upper Half, .300 Fireball, 1-8 twist, A2 flashhider
Upper Options:

A3 upper with FlipDownFrontSightTower, with bayonet lug, Yankee Hill
Aluminum free float, Black Bolt carrier group & charging handle
M4 cuts int he ramp area.

The only disaapointment I got is the threads were not 1/2 x 28, they appear 5/8 x 28, so off to the gun smith to have that done. As I am using a XXX silencer on this upper.

I also plan on radius'n the M4 groves until the are no more sharp edges.

I have the La Rue tactical EO Tech & PVS-14 mount combination, with the hardware ;) EO Tech 551 & ITT PVS-14 duh

So once I get her back fromt he gun smith off to sight her in with silencer attached as I only plan on using subsonic loads (220grain).

I will also be using a Bushmaster lower that has been customized and has a crisp trigger in her.

Here is the break down....

Total $544.75


I also asked them to put in the M4 ramp & cuts, which they did just a little longer time in the custom shop.

Oh and the gas port hole at the top was drilled out exactly at 0.125. So it was perfect for my sub-sonic loads. I am also using a chrome bolt instead of the one it came with and I radius the M4 cut area. She shoots like a dream.

who is making subsonic commercial? Corbon? What brand supressor is it? Have you tried the suppressor on a 22lr? (curious as I am thinking ar and 10-22 dual use...)

what kind of accuracy are you getting at 100 and 200yds? I'm thinking about building one up myself and I like to hear what loads you are using and what kinda accuracy. I will be putting Gemtech TPRS on mine.

I am sorry to do this to everybody but he said that he would post target pictures and never did, so 4 years later I still want to see some damn pictures!!!!

PLUS after 4 years do you still have that rig??
I am possibly interested in a simular set up and want to know some info.
Is the bolt a normal AR bolt?
how was your accuracy with the M1S barrel?
Are the rounds double stack or single in the AR magazine?
