Nice job Rew! I think I need to get one of thoes. How does it shoot/function? I wonder if you could add a bayonet lug to go with that flashider?
It's basicly an AR18 in a bullpup stock. Gas operated and uses AR/M16 mags. A lot of people don't like the trigger, but I've got this one were I can bump it. 21.5" barrel and 31.5" overall with the addition of the flash hider. It is a slip over FH BTW. Very accurate rifle. To me that is all important. ;) Bayo lug, wow, not sure, never thought about it. :)

The more I see these the more I want one. I have been thinking of getting a car 15/M4 type rifle but for the cost it seems I can get one of these for about half of the price and the overall length/proformance is about the same, not to mention the cool factor. What is the best deal you have seen for one of these going for?

Nice shooter, Rew!
I have toyed with the idea of getting an M17 and making some mods like yours. As for the bayonet lug, I would considered using the muzzle device from an British SA80/L85A2. It would kill 2 birds with 1 stone as the flashhider and the bayonet attachment are integral. Granted, you would be limited to using the British issue bayonet but would have the "evil" features of the lug and flashhider. I am not sure how the muzzle device attaches to the SA80/L85A2 barrel but it couldn't be too difficult to adapt it to the M17...threaded, pinned, or whatnot.
Granted, I do want a SA80/L85A2 but guess I’ll never get one. Hopefully...someone will look at importing semi versions or making them here one day. I can dream.
More pic's comming soon, it has changed again, and a bayo lug is on order, but it's back ordered right now. ;)
