Has anyone seen one of these in person? I'm wondering who cut the stock down, the commies or Century?

Redstar,
Is there a photo in your post? I don't see anything.

No I hadn't posted a pic, but heres one from the Century site:
M48 Bosnian Rifle With Cutdown Stock, Cal. 8mm

I asked a sales rep if they (Century) cut down the stock and she said they posed that question to Vermont and they never answered. Ah the big bureaucratic Century Arms...Has anyone ever fired a Mauser with a cut down stock like this? Or better yet have one of these? Just considering one since they're on sale for $69.87 this month. I'm not sure how a stock like this would affect accuracy.
If anything I think it would probably help accuracy as there would be less stock to barrel contact. Make it more like a free floating barrel.
No I don't have one but have been thinking about one.

Well I went ahead and ordered one before I left work yesterday, I'll post a report on condition at least. Won't get shot for awhile though.
