I am working on a pistol build and I need to reposition the lower handguard retainer rearward from its orginal position, about 7/8 of an inch ahead of the barrel step. Any ideas on how to secure it in this new position, looking for any advice from someone who has had a similar project experiance. Thanks in advance for your reply.
