Hey guys, Love this board! Waiting for my C&R to come back...seems like a lifetime!
Anyone know where to find a Japanese WWII rifle? I would llike to find one with the rising sun mark on it. How much do you think these are going for?
Thanks for the info!

I never see them at the usual places. I think you'll have to do a search for these. They're a specialized market I'd say.
Alot of their stuff was piss poor to say the least especially towards the end of the war. I don't know that they put the rising sun on their small arms. I do know that they put a Chrysanthemum on all their small arms. It was the symbol of the emperor. The Japanese were ordered to obliterate the Mum's on their weapons before they were turned over after the unconditional surrender, so as not to disgrace the emperor. Therefore it is rare to find a specimen that still has the Mum on it, at least that's what I've read.
