Sorry I'm unable to post pics at this time.
I bought a complete DPMS lower with A2 buttstock months later I purchased a Del-ton complete upper,The upper is stock nothing fance its thier brand forged upper it comes witha Wilson heavy barrel.
The Two halves went to gether just fine no fitting and the finishes of both recievers matched.
I then bought a T-168 intensified recticle scope from clear view investments by the way they currently have them listed for 39.95$
I was very pleased with the fit and finish of the rifle, the scope I could tell was a bit on the cheesy side. The optics were reasonably clear, the flip up, see thru lens covers had some kind of film on them even after the protective plastic film peeled away no amount of cleaning could get the film off. The illumination part of the scope works but the battery compartment is very cheaply made and sometimes the spring on the inside of the compartment cap doesnt make good contact with the batterys so every once in a while you got to play with it some and it will work.
I also bought a 900 round can of radway green SS109 from AIM and 40 rounds of UMC .223 rem from wal-mart. Once ali was assembled i took it to some private property to feild test my new toy.
I boresighted the scope witha laserlyte kit purched from midway usa it fits int eh bore of the rifle and loaded several magazines. i bought 10 of the Tiawan Type 65 steel mags from ammunitionstore.com.
I fired 10 rounds of the SS109 unaimed for a function check all went well then i started to shoot at some paper plates about 50 yards away i was standing on a pier and was firing across a small pond.
I had to make a few minor adjustments to the rear sight and and gave the front sight a click or two up and started getting hits.
I switched to the scope and got hits immedately, it needed a few minor adjustments but that was it.
I fed the rifle a few hundred rounds of the SS109 and all the UMC with no stoppages.
I then noticed the scope flopping around and discoverd the thumb screw that anchors the scope to the carry handles had been backing out with the recoil so i removed it and placed it in the range bag and resumed shooting.
A cottonmouth (snake) decided to go for a swim in the pond. I fired a single shot useing the handrail of the pier as a rest and took it out.
I hope this answered any questions anyone may have had concidering buying any of these products.
I reattached the scope putting some blue lock tite on the threads but i havent had a chance to fire it again.
Overall Im pleased with all the products I tested above even though Im critical of the optics I feel its an ok scop for what you pay for it its a fixed six power.
The type 65 mags in my opinion are superior to the used GI mags i got. The GI mags seem to swell a bit as they are loaded to capacity but they do function. However the steel mags are new and didnt swell and fuctioned flawlessly in my rifle and for under 10$ each you cant go wrong.
