I picked this gun up for $300 new and a Phobus holster for $20.
This is the gun: http://www.taurususa.com/products/product-details.cfm?model=145BP&category=Pistol
I made it out to the range this past weekend and I loved this gun. At 10 yds I was putting 10 rounds in a 2-2 1/2'' circle. At 15 yds I managed 8/10 rds in a 3 1/2'' circle. At 25 yds I couldn't even hit the dam 4 inch targets I was shooting at. Although the gun has a 3 1/4 inch barrell and probably wasn't designed for 25 yds, my skill level had something to do w/it I'm sure.
I shot 150 rds of Winchester white box 230gr FMJ and had at least 2-3 misfires. The primers were good and dented but the rds never went off. I also shot 50 rds of Winchester white box 230gr JHP w/no problems.
The gun was a huge pain in the ass to clean, I'm sure I'll get better at it w/time. The trigger pull was kind of long but manageable.
All in all I'd say money well spent.
1 other thing-The owners manual said nothing over 225gr through this gun, I assume the 5 extra grains will wear it out faster but....it has the Taurus lifetime warranty so....who cares?!
